I have a CQSW. I used to work as a residential Social Worker, with adults with learning difficulties. For several years I found it rewarding and enjoyable work, but then there were changes in local and national policy that lead to the private section taking over a lot of the care. I got out just in time.

The CQSW is very easy, a couple of years part time, mostly watered down psychology, subjective reflection and case study. Compared to a proper qualification, even to my PGCE, it was very undemanding. But it could be expensive to get (I was sponsored by the department I worked for) and you need to be in some suitible work already.
