you can buy a laptop cooler. it's about 40-80bucks. i bought one myself and it works like a charm. it's quiet and it cools up your laptop really nicely.

that's basically how it works. pretty self explanatory.

one thing you might want to keep in mind IF you're considering to buy it is,

find out whether your laptop vents air in or out and buy the cooler accordingly.

if your laptop vents air in, you want cooler that vents air out (therfore into your laptop) and vice versa.

    it's small and portable also.

but if you're not willing to buy it

you could actually format your computer and reinstall everything too.

that eases your computer abit so it cools down.

you could also clean up the fan for your laptop at a repair store.

they'll do it for minimal fees.

also you want to place your laptop where it can vent air easily

putting your laptop on your bed, or your lap is a nono.

things basic as this can help it alot. goodluck.

I'd first recommend making sure that the vented areas along the bottom and sides of your laptop are clear. For best venting, the laptop should be placed on a flat surface. This will allow the cooling fan, or fans, to work best. If you continue to have it heating up, there are some USB flat panels that have cooling fans that you can place the laptop on. Beyond that, not much else can be done.

Any machine if it runs runs alot it gets heated and the only way to reduce it's heat is by giving it a break or by using a laptop cooler.

If it was excess heat it would swithch itself off. Any machine running much will get hot.
