How would 2 blue german rams would go with 2 pearl gourami?

How would 2 blue german rams would go with 2 pearl gourami? I also have 2 zebra danios, 4 red eye tetras and 2 mystery snails in my 40g (150l) freshwater aquarium.

BTW....i think my pearl gourami may be both males (I got them as juveniles) so I am going to get a female pearl gourami. Then I plan to get a couple of powder blue dwarf gourami. Of course, I will wait until my tank is established for 6 months before thinking about my rams!!! :)

Thanks for all your advice, in advance...

The German Blue Rams, i'm sure would be compatible with the pearl gourami, but i don't think they're especially compatible with your smaller fish. They have been known to act aggressively towards smaller species of fish. Especially when they're stressed or annoyed, so i think you should reconsider just in case xxx

At the minute I have 4 Pearl and 4 Golden Gourami, in with 2 Featherfin Syndontis, 2 Mottled Ancistrus, a Banjo Catfish a Red Tail Shark in a 200 litre tank a pair of Blue Ram Cichlids will finish my set up.

I am curious as too why the Danios aren't nipping the Gouramis in other tanks as I have 11 Zebra and Leopard Danios in with Cory Cats (10 off, Albino, Pepper and Bronze) in a 117 litre and the Danios drive the Cories crazy except for the Bronze which are bonkers..

I personally think that the Gouramis and the Blue Rams should be fine..

Just incase anyone thinks my tanks are overstocked I do have 2 Fluval U2 Filters in the 117 litre and Fluval U4 and U3 in the 200 litre to contain the bioload and low lighting and all the catfish help Algae and do water changes weekly

the blue rams and the pearl gouramis will be just fine with each other

however i wouldn't get any more gouramis for the tank later on though, because gouramis are known to fight with each other over territory

however, you should complete the schools of your schooling fish though

    so you should get

    2 more red eyed tetras

    4 more zebra danios

    and you can get additionally

    5 kuhli loaches

1 bristle nose pleco for the bottom

with the additional fish your tank would be completely stocked but also very colorful
