Cheap, disposable paint brush alternative?

Can someone please advise me about a cheap alternative to using a paint brush?

I'm asking because I'm using liquid latex which seems to be impossible to remove from the bristles, rendering the brush useless in a couple of minutes.

Did you know that Latex paint is water soluble so if it isn't totally dried up you can mix/thin it with water? Don't go overboard but you can safely add about 15% of the volume with water and it will still behave like Latex paint.

Sponge brushes in Paint supply stores are cheap alternatives.

why don't you first dip your brush in a soap solution and then in your latex paint . and keep washin in btw applications and re doing the soap sol dip before every paint dip. works for me
