I am 36 weeks with a cerclage ..........?
The doctor is taking my cerclage out on Monday has anyhone ever had one and if yo uhave how long after your cerclage was taken out did you go into labor?

my cerclage was taken out when I was 36 weeks and I didn't go into labor at all the doctor ended up inducing me at 39 weeks and 4 days, my daughter is five now.

Please let me know how it goes. I have to have one next time I get pregnant. My husband and I lost a baby girl last Aug at 21 weeks. Are you on bed rest? My doctor told me that I wouldn't have to be unless something else happened, but every woman I know that has had it has had to be on bed rest. Not sure if I can do that with an EXTREMELY active son zipping through the house.
