3 AnswersLaptops & Notebooks1 decade agoHelp with next steps of getting title in my name?
three years ago I got divorced. The car I am driving was financed in my husbands name at the time. I obtained a loan from my bank to pay off the original financing. He was sent the title which he forwarded to my bank. the car was originally registered in Texas and I have since moved to Florida. When I went to get the registration changed to FL I did not have the title because my bank had misplaced it after receiving it. I finally obtained a copy after THREE years of trying to get the original financier to send an original release of lien and get my bank to help me. My ex husbands name is still on the title. What do I need to do at this point to get the title in my name so that I can register this car? I don't even know what the next step should be
1 AnswerInsurance & Registration1 decade agoAre there any laws on getting paid by your employer on time?
I have tried to find out information on the department of labor website but can't really find anything to answer my question.
At the beginning of the year my employer went to paying by direct deposit. Prior to that we would receive pay checks every friday. When the direct deposit first started we would usually have it on Saturday because he did the payroll on thursday nights. Now sometimes we don't get our money until the following WEDNESDAY! It is very frustrating and I was just wondering if there were any laws regarding this. I am in Florida if that makes any difference as far as laws state to state
5 AnswersLaw & Legal1 decade agoWhere would I get the original release of lien to my car title?
When I got divorced nearly three years ago I refinanced my car that was in my husbands name before. When my ex husband received the title he signed it over and mailed it to my bank. The car was refinanced and I never thought anything about it until I moved to Florida and needed the title. I automatically assumed the bank had it since I had lived in Texas before where the lien holder keeps the title. Apparently this is not the case in Oklahoma where I refinanced the car. When I called the bank to see where the title was they had no idea. Either way it is lost. When I tried to file for a lost Title in texas they say they need the original release of lien. Where do I get that information? Would that be from the original finance company that my ex husband had financing through? Please help! I would really like to get this taken care of so I can finally get a tag on my car.
4 AnswersInsurance & Registration1 decade agoHow to get rid of sinus drainage/post nasal drip?
For at least the past two years I have had some constant sinus drainage. Mostly post nasal drip I am guessing because I get a bad taste, sore throats from it at times, and when I lay down it sometimes is hard to swallow. I also currently have an earache even after being on antibiotics 2 weeks ago (it never went away completely). I have been on antibiotics several times in the last two years for sore throat etc but it just seems like a reoccurring thing that never really gets 100% better. What is going on and what are my options? I don't really have sinus congestion, though my nose is always icky when I blow it in the a.m. and sometimes bloody.
I just want to fix the problem because I feel as if I have constant infection in my body from something. I am also tired of having bad breath from the nasty drainage! HELP!!

And wouldn't it be funny if you put a ribbon around the jar and gave it to people who make you mad as a gift.
15 AnswersBiology1 decade agoWhy is being gay such an issue? I am not gay or even have any close gay friends but I really don't get it.
Why do people have such a problem with gay people just based on the fact that they have sex with the same sex? I am not just talking about Christians in general but other people who gay bash etc. Today my boss said he had no use for gay people during a conversation that wasn't even of serious nature.
Here is what I don't get.
People are people. There are men that have sex with women, there are men that have sex with men. There are women that have sex with women and women that have sex with men. They are all having sex....so why is one worse than the other and how does who I have sex with make me a bad person?
Also since when does what I do in my home and bedroom have any negative effects on anyone else? I would really like to hear your views on this from both sides.
People out there need to get a grip.
