  • Can my glass shelf support my 55” inch tv?

My glass (tempered) shelf is rated for 127 lbs (top shelf) of weight and is a little over 1/4 of an inch thick with support stands roughly 2-3 feet apart. My tv weighs 53 lbs and has a single centered stand. Does anyone think this is safe or should I get something sturdier?

  • SSL error?

I opened up Chrome on my PC, and this message pops up:

"Cannot connect to the real www.google.com

Something is currently interfering with your secure connection to www.google.com.

Try to reload this page in a few minutes or after switching to a new network. If you have recently connected to a new Wi-Fi network, finish logging in before reloading.

If you were to visit www.google.com right now, you might share private information with an attacker. To protect your privacy, Chrome will not load the page until it can establish a secure connection to the real www.google.com."

Is there something wrong with connection, or is it my server?

  • Nexus 7 (2013) not charging?

I tried all my cables but it refuses to charge. The port hole doesn't look damaged or anything. The only time it does charge is when I turn off the device, and plug it in. But it only does it for a few seconds and just stops.

  • When it's time to replace my computer?

I've had my laptop for 3 years now. The symptoms are: Runs slow, Internet explorer will not open, and it won't charge. It stays at 10% and no more. I replaced it with a new battery, but it still refuses to charge. Could any of these problems be fixed or should I start considering to invest in a new one?

  • iOS 7.1 dark keyboard option missing?

As of now, 7.1 is now live for download/install. But I can't find the dark keyboard option. I went to Settings > General > Accessibility, but nope. So what do you think? Should I have waited a few days longer for the update, or did they kill off the dark keyboard setting on one of the beta versions a long time ago and I didn't even notice?

  • Where to get a new laptop battery?

I've had an HP 2000 219DX notebook for over 2 years now. And as fate would have it, its battery got shorter and shorter and eventually died. The question being is, do some retailers still possess replacement batteries, or do you have to do some digging on the internet and buy it online? If option 2 applies, then what site would you recommend to buy a replacement?

  • Drawbacks of wearing a beanie?

Can a lack of exposure of your head cause health problems if wearing beanies or hats for long periods of time? The pros are just mere fashion and to keep warm, but the cons?

  • Can't uninstall program/software?

"The feature you are trying to use on a network resource is unavailable"

That window with that message pops out everytime I try to uninstall a program. Not sure why. Probably because that particular program/software's files are missing. But what I really want to know is how to get rid of it entirely?

  • Slow internet conection?

I've had my DSL internet for almost 7 years and my wi-fi router for 2 years so far. And I need to know which one's the culprit for such a slow connection. Is my DSL internet starting to lag after all this time, or do I have too many devices logged in my wi-fi router? One of the few indicators is when web pages start to render its content more slowly, and when I go on Youtube and starts a video at the lowest quality possible. Is there any way I can get my connection up to speed again?

  • Someone please help me?

When I finished ejaculating (take note that I kinda overdid it), my genital area started to feel sore. The soreness eventually went away, but now I have this weird feeling in my gut like I have to go to the bathroom, but not to urinate. Almost like I have stools to release. Is it just my digestive system's normal behavior, or is this the beginning of something serious?

  • Internet Explorer won't open?

I'm current version I'm using is IE10 for Win7. I clicked on the icon as always. but it just will not open. I went to "Turn windows features on or off" and found out it was unchecked. BUT, I re-checked the "ie" box, hit "OK" and still wouldn't open. I went back to windows features only to find out that the "IE" box was unchecked by itself. Why does it continue to do that?

  • Improve web browsing performance?

    Specs:

    AMD E350 Dual core (1.6GHz)

    3 GB RAM

    Win7 Home Premium

Besides everything else my laptop struggles in, its the web browsing performance that really ticks me off. I've had for a year and a half and its been showing signs earlier this year. It lags when I scroll up or down, and the graphic applications that makes websites run just runs horribly. Either my computer needs serious cleaning, or the daily sites I visit and browsers are becoming way too modern for my computer to handle. What's also bad is now, Youtube playback automatically starts 240p which I know it has something to do with my internet connection and lagging performance. In other words, its a filthy mess and it ruins my browsing experience.

I know it all depends on internet speed and computer performance on its CPU. So with that being said, any tips on getting the most outta my computer? Cleaning? Defragmenting? Anything?

*One last thing. Is it bad when you install and uninstall too many apps and software?

    I heard it somewhere*

  • Scalp psoriasis cause?

My condition of scalp psoriasis started last year in September. It disappeared when winter 2012 ended (with the help of medicated shampoo). And now, its back. My parents believe it was the combination of summer weather and concealing my head with a hat, beanie, etc. Not sure i really believed that at first, but is it possible? Could the excessive concealing of my head and hot weather be the cause, or is it still unknown and remains uncurable but treatable like scientists say?

  • Registering my HP product?

When I check system properties, it shows Windows 7 OS genuine activation and the rest of the specs. But what I don't see is that it doesn't mention the brand manufacturer. Is it a registration issue? When I first got it it does have it but now it's gone. I know its not even a big deal and it doesn't affect the computer in any way, but you know... just for authenticity. What do I need for it?

  • Which partitions do i delete when reinstall Windows 7 (ISO/USB)?

I'm stuck on which partition to delete on Win7. On the list of options, there are 4 of them:

1: Disk 0 Partition 1: SYSTEM (199 MB) Type: System

2: Disk 0 Partition 2 (284 GB) Type: Primary (Which I'm guessing its my hard drive storage)

3: Disk 0 Partition 3: RECOVERY (13.7 GB) Type: Primary

    4: Disk 0 Partition 4: HP_TOOLS (103 MB) Type: Primary

So yeah... which do I delete from there? Please help

  • How to reinstall Windows 7 (ISO/USB) (Part 2)?

On the first part of my question I forgot to mention that my current OS is Windows 8 Release Preview (which was mistakenly upgraded rather than on a separate partition). And yes, I know it can only be removed by completely reinstalling 7 (which I already went through). Will it be any different if when you already had Win7? Does it include the same steps? Because I was watching a few tutorials on it, at some point during the installation process, it gives me the option of deleting a certain partition or disk or whatever which is really thought-provoking (as far as my knowledge goes). Will I go through any of that? If yes, then what exactly do I do? As I mentioned before, this is my first time dealing with this kind of thing so I'm kinda paranoid about this
