If I have dormant mono and kiss somebody with active mono, can I get the disease again?
I have had mono before but my girlfriend has active mono at the moment. Can I contract the disease from her, even though it's already in my system?
1 AnswerInfectious Diseases7 years agoDoes Canelo have too many flaws to be great?
I watched the fight last night and I noticed a few things. Canelo is horrible t controlling the ring. He follows opponents, rather than cut them off. He doesn't have great endurance, doesn't jab enough, doesn't throw enough at the right spots, and has moments of complete mental lapses where he doesn't respond to a boxers flurry except freeze and out on earmuffs. Boxer, counterpunches give him trouble. Then I've realized that these same issues have come up in numerous previous fights. I really like Canelo, I think he's a good fighter. But, is it time to stop thinking he's the next great Mexican? I honestly think this guy is a B+ fighter with slight upside.
7 AnswersBoxing7 years agoThe curious case of Guillermo Rigondeaux?
You'd be hard pressed to find a boxing fan that would argue about the elite set of skills that Rigs possesses. He had an outstanding Amateur career, and has an outstanding professional one going for him thus far. Yet once his current contract with Top Rank and HBO runs out after this year, it is going to be a real possibility that we may never see another televised fight of his again. This of course due to his style of boxing, which is considered by a lot of fans as boring. So I ask you...
What would you have Rigs do differently in the ring in his next fight, if anything?
What long term changes should Rigs make to ensure proper purses and television exposure going forward?
7 AnswersBoxing7 years agoWhere is a good site/brand to buy a mass number of youth clubs?
What is a good brand or website to purchase a very large number of loose youth clubs? Lots of irons and putters. Maybe a few drivers too. Links would be appreciated.

I thought they both meant a verse on a song but do they? Or is a feature something else?
2 AnswersRap and Hip-Hop8 years agoShould I deliver oxygen tanks?
There's a job opening I can probably get full time delivering oxygen tanks but I have a fear of things that can explode. I'd be in charge of delivering them and possibly fixing them and troublshooting. How rare or common is it to have a serious accident delivering oxygen?

2 AnswersRap and Hip-Hop8 years agoGolf: Can somebody offer me advice before my first golf tournament? URGENT.?
I am playing in my first tournament June 6th. I have completely lost my swing. I took a lesson last Friday and ever since then have played like absolute garbage for the past week+. I cant hit the ball. I forgot how to swing the club. I am a decent player (mid 80s) but if I played now I would shoot 110+. I have 4 days until the tournament. Should I just keep playing? Get a lesson? Not play at all? Read a book? I don't know. Somebody please offer good advice.

5 AnswersReligion & Spirituality8 years agoContrary to popular belief, would boxing GAIN fans if more of the fighters were humble?
Reading recent articles about Froch saying Ward is boring and doesn't sell and that he could possibly stop him has turned me completely off about Carl Froch. Now that I think about it, most boxers ALWAYS have something to say when they lose or feel threatened. Do you think if boxers took losses more like a man and didn't complain it would appeal more to the common fan? This is a horrible sample size but as an example my father doesn't watch fights anymore because he said he wants to see fights not talking...

2 AnswersBoxing8 years agoDo embarrassing details about the writers of the new testament serve as a piece of evidence?
In Norman Geisler's book, "I Don't Have Enough Faith to be an Atheist," he makes the claim that the inclusion of embarrassing details about the authors of the NT help serve as evidence for the validity of what is contained in those scriptures. The thought process being, no author would include embarrassing details about themself. I believe one of the examples used was a passage that included that the apostles were "dimwitted men."
1. So my question is does this serve as evidence?
2. If not, why? And can you name examples of a book or books where an author does indeed use embarrassing details about himself?
12 AnswersReligion & Spirituality8 years agoIs the "prime" of a boxer now shifting into the 30s?
The consesus is that the athletic prime of the average male is about 25. However, do you feel this is changing in boxing specifically? Examples.
Bernard Hopkins
Juan Manuel Marquez
Floyd Mayweather Jr.
Sergio Martinez
Guillermo Rigondeaux
Lucas Matthysse
The Klitchkos
Carl Froch
Etc.
Most of these guys either caught their prime in their 30s, or did not suffer from decline entering the 30s and some of them, 40s.
BQ- List other examples of current fighters who are older and still in their prime, or entering it.

11 AnswersReligion & Spirituality8 years agoWhat makes scientists, atheists, etc. accept the theories of the following, but not of a god?
Things like Dark Matter
Multi Verses
Parallel Universes
Theory of Everything
White holes
Time Travel
Life on other planets
Some of these aren't theories I know, it's just easier to quantify it that way instead. I am asking because it seems many people believe in these and view them as valid despite a lacking of evidence, or simply having none at all. How is this different from a god or a higher being?
Once again as always, serious answers only please. "God is stupid. You are stupid," answerers will be reported. Thank you.

Is the religion of scientology just a scheme for money. Why or why not?
6 AnswersReligion & Spirituality8 years agoWhat can be taken as evidence for a god or higher being? List some...?
Before fellow atheists feel the urge to comment about how there is no such evidence and I am stupid, please refrain. This question is for theists. You can feel free to comment if you'd like however, if you are going to answer the question. Thanks all...
