So let me add a little more detail to this. I've been going to a tech school for a year and a half and recently I've been so weighed down by paying bills, that I've simply stopped going and now one year later, im still not enrolled in any courses.

I'm moving to another state in about a year or less and I'm thinking of applying to state university instead. My credits aren't transferable and I wanted to switch my degree program anyway. I know this means biting the extra loans I took out, but so be it.

I don't want a repeat of this situation. Going to school part time is going to take me far too long, I'm early 20s and I can't stand the slow progress that I've already experienced trying to just get an associates, let alone a four year degree.

Does anyone know what kind of additional financial aid available to college students? I've used the pell grant since I qualify for it and have taken out Stratford loans to supplement that. It did give me a bit of extra money for some basic expenses, but between rent, internet, my car payments, insurance, and so on... I need to work so much that I can't study.

I won't be looking for dorm life as I have two cats and a fiancé I live with. So something affordable for us both since he also will likely be attending university... I just need some insight.

PS I can't go for a sallie mae loan. I've been told I need a cosigner and no one close to me has good credit... pretty poor family.

This is a paragraph from a research paper I am writing. It has been a long time since I have written anything longer than three pages. I am not familiar with how I should go about writing foreign things or terms. Any advice would be appreciated. I'm having trouble finding someone to revise this for me. I do not know many other people that I would trust to catch mistakes. Are there any sites that exist for peer revision? Anyway, here is the paragraph.

It is very likely that Italy reinvented sorbetto after having a similar creation introduced by the Arabs. I got mailed a 419 scam check and I plan on reporting it to the police, but I'm trying to explain to someone why I myself can't use it even if the account has sufficient funds. What happens? I know there are definitely consequences and possible jail time just being one of them. It would be classified as a felony right? For fraud. Otherwise anyone who catches on to these things would just keep the money for themselves. Let's say I deposit this and wait for it to bounce, what happens once it does? Other than bank fees and taking the money, what else happens?

Just looking to find out more information, should I just tear this thing up or is it possible for the police to find out who this person is with the check they sent? I'm all for reporting it, but if it doesn't do anything I won't waste my time.

Long story short, I've got a petty theft citation on my record. I was 17 and it's paid for, but it's not listed as juvenile so it is not sealed. I'm waiting to hear back from my attorney, but things don't look good as I cannot get it expunged and reopening the ticket may not happen as the three year mark has already passed. Anyway.. I'm not always asked about convictions when I am interviewed, but if I am, should I tell them the whole story or just explain what is on my record? I've got no problem being honest about it, but how much information is too much? I was in a bad place and stole an article of clothing which, ironically, was for an interview so I could look nicer. So do I tell them that or no? I feel like the condition is better than simple stealing something I really wanted but couldn't afford. Still, it's my mistake and take full responsibility for it. Just wondering what would be more acceptable. I've already been denied employment due to this, which sucks. It isn't a misdemeanor, I asked the clerk of courts. Is there any other advice someone could give me? I'm in school for business management, hahah.. This will probably bite me in the *** after graduation also. Related work and all, id be handling money and customer information..

This took place in Wisconsin 2011 I was issued a petty theft citation, paid the charges but because I didn't show up in court (the officer told me I didn't have to) I just didn't and paid my dues financially. Now I got a call back from a great potential would be employer stating I can't have the job with that on my record, I was 17 at the time but after calling the clerk of courts, I found out that it doesn't matter because it was a forfeited citation, not a misdemeanor like I thought it was. Citations can't be expunged, I was told. I really need a decent job, what can I do? Is that going to be on my record forever? Nobody told me any of this when I was issued the citation, I wasn't even arrested... Now I'm just sitting here crying because for two weeks now I thought I had this great job coming up, now I don't. I had to quit my other job because I went without a car for so long and had no other way of getting there.. Had my car fixed but now this happens. Sorry for the sob story, this just feels pretty unfair. Back to job searching I guess.. Probably won't land anything with a self respecting employer.

I currently use biore pore strips, but they are kind of expensive and don't completely do th job for me. I don't have blackheads, I use them only to clear pores and they just don't get a whole lot out of them. Yes, I do make sure to exfoliate and make sure my face is very wet before applying, yadda yadda. I do have very clogged pores so it isn't much of a surprise.

I'm looking for suggestions that might be better? Homemade geletin ones didn't cut it either, they were worse. I was wondering if there are any peel offs tha can be applied to a larger area? Kind of like the seikisho white mask by kose I'm thinking of trying. Any suggestions about pore penetrating cleansers, exfoliating scrubs or moisturizers would be greatly appreciated too. Preferably something I can pick up at a store, seeing as I already have to look for a new peel online. :P

I'm visiting someone for a week and just got but outside by neighbors dog. Both places are rented, the yard is shared where it happened. It tore flesh but it isn't severe. I was assured the dog was up to date on shots, and I'm kind of pissed it bit through my coat to bite me. I don't wanna spend my vacation time in the ER over this, but what should I do? I didn't even get an apology, just the excuse that it was on their period. I'm conflicted, I just want to have a nice night here, I want to at least report the dog bite but how long would that take?

I'm going to school in WI, my car is still under step dads name for insurance purposes, the car is from NY, plates, insurance, tags, everything. Will I be able to take my test in WI?

The thing is, tags work a looot differently. I was not allowed to get the little WI sticker used here, NY uses tags that you go get your car inspected for, obviously. I was told by someone at an auto place that I don't need to get my car inspected so long as it is in WI

It has been expired for a few months now, so far no one has said anything because they don't have those tags here I guess.. just wondering if it will get in the way of getting my license in WI?

First, I've got no money. I mean it, don't even suggest anything that costs, please. I need to get to work in the morning and my keys are stuck in my 2003 hyunai accent. There is no alarm, no security, it is an old car.. what are some tricks I can try to open it? I've heard a hanger for something.. I don't have anything to flatten one, if it needs to be perfect.

Also our PD won't do car unlocks anymore. I'm also not part of any road side assistance programs, ect.

My lock is on the doors themselves, on the side of them, only a real hand could do that..also heard shoestring? Does that damage anything? Also with suggestions.. please tell me if they need to be done on a door with a lock, or will a rear door work? Thanks!

Hi there. My dream is to become a pastry chef.. But recently I'm so afraid after hearing how much of your life your job will dominate with becoming any type of chef. It really is my passion, I know and love nothing else.. But I'm a family oriented person. I want to be there for my future kids and husband, I don't want to sacrifice good relationships with them for my job. I would think of another career choice, but I don't know what else I could possibly enjoy as much.

My question comes down to this... Is there any way to do what I love without he above happening? Any other advice is greatly appreciated as well. Thanks!

OTHER than firework stands, what would be the best store to buy some from that we can use in our yard? The stand closed down yesterday at our local market, didn't expect that to happen. Sooo I wanted to buy some still, where could I get some quality stuff?

Well first, here is a bit about the animals.

First there is mama cat, Iris. She is sort of hostile, even to her own kids. She hisses at them, and smacks the dog in the face sometimes, lol. Then her first son, Pat. He is really hostile to his mom and brother, yet he sleeps on top of his brother everyday. He is an odd one.. then finally the gentle giant, Sammy. He is the nicest cat I've ever met, very lovable and never seems angry. He only stares or walks away when the other two hiss at him.

The dog is another gentle giant, very friendly and never strikes back at mama for hitting him, lol.

Now there is MY cat.. she is one year old. She has a problem with scratching that I'm currently working on, turns out she doesn't like hands much. Other than that, very friendly. We are going to be staying with the family with those animals soon, and I have been bringing her over every other day for the past two weeks. She has been kept in one room though, so the others could get a sniff of her and such.

Iria tried to attack her through the door. Pat hissed and growled the loudest at her. Sammy didn't hiss until today, when I carried her out of the room and kept her in my arms while I showed her to the others.

Well, they all hissed at her, even Sammy when we got close, he just ran though. Pat stood his ground and so did mama. My cat didn't hiss at any of them, just stared and even let out a couple small meow's. She did hiss at the dog though. She did once live with two adult cats, but not sure about a dog ever.

Where should I go from here? I'm very worried that she will get hurt. I put her back in the room she is always in for now.

I have an interview placed in an office setting, business attire obviously. I do qualify for the job, I am only 18 though. I was wondering what I should wear? Should I try to look professional, but my age at the same time? I don't mind wearing business attire, I was wondering if they would think I am trying too hard with a full on suit+long skirt or pants. I'm not sure how much is going overboard, haha.
