Anyone else nostalgic looking over the Foonblotz catalog?
As Y!A draws to a close, Nice Guy and I had a walk down memory lane the other day to another time. A time of Foonblotz firearms excellence and "Forest invade house dog honk loadingly". A simpler and better time. CTM, Glacier, Squiggy, and yea even you Newell, you'll all be missed. Here's hoping the 20s find you all well.
6 AnswersHunting1 week agoWhy do people in the hunting section...?
Why do people in the hunting section who have no understanding of the laws regarding NFA regulated items (AOW, SBR, SBS, Suppressors, Automatic Firearms, Destructive Devices) feel they need to try to answer questions involving NFA regulated items or conversions? All they do is give confusing, inaccurate answers. For instance I saw an answerer the other day say that you COULD NOT convert a pistol to a rifle.
1: http://www.atf.gov/regulations-rulings/rulings/atf... if you are converting to a rifle with greater than 26" OAL and 16" or longer barrel.
2: SBR tax stamp on a Form 1 to "manufacture" an SBR
Why do they feel they need to answer questions about something they themselves do not understand?
2 AnswersYahoo Answers8 years agoCAI Golani Sporter barrel wear question?
I own a CAI Golani Sporter (that actually works right) and use tulammo 55gr .223 fmj in it. From what I understand, the Tulammo is a copper over steel jacketed round. What should my barrel life be like shooting mostly tulammo? Should I go ahead and buy an undrilled for gas block IMI galil barrel to have in reserve to replace my current barrel when it wears out?
3 AnswersHunting1 decade agoCan a Remington 870 Bolt be duracoated or gunkoted?
I have a police surplus remington 870 wingmaster that is going to be duracoated flat or matte black, the bolt is a polished finish bolt and I would rather it be black. I am pretty sure that that is ok to do, but I just want to make sure I will not put something out of tolerance by doing so.
