I've worked at a restaurant for two years and so far everything is going well.

What I'm concerned about is that today I went as a costumer and while I was there one of my managers approached me telling me that the restaurant had received a chargeback of $80 from someone that had me as a server and that I had to pay that amount. He said that it happened because instead of swiping the costumer a card I entered the numbers manually and that I'm not supposed to do that. I know that when ever I do the transactions manually it's only because the costumers card doesn't work by swiping.

I don't think I should be held responsible for that because the costumer signed the paper that he authorized the transaction regardless of the method of how it was charged.

Am I wrong or are my managers wrong?

Please help me, I will really appreciate it.

Hello everyone. I hope someone can help me or give me some tips. For about 3 years or so a lot of people have told me that I have a very deep voice for a 21 year old and that I should be a television or radio host/broadcaster. I do believe that I have a unique voice and I want to try it out but I have no idea whatsoever on how to get started. Any ideas?

I've been playing lately and getting a little tired of it. I wish fifa14 would actually show the players overall during manager mode. In the older versions I could find great young talents and now it focuses so much in scouting. I ain't got time for that. And back then in the older versions you could create your own team. Now I believe it's only online which is a huge upset.

What would you change?

Every once in a while I play Pandora and the station that I listen is called 80's pop and those are some of the many wonderful songs that come out. I really doubt there is a station but if there is I would really appreciate you letting me know which one it is.

Im a regular norms costumer in Los Angeles and I once tried an omelette that had spinach and I really liked it but I can't remember what it's called. I know it also had mushroom because I recall asking the waiter to order it without mushroom.

It was like in a special menu but I haven't seen it again.

I checked the menu at the restaurant and online and I just found the Portobella Mushroom Spinach Omelette but I know it wasn't that one because it didn't taste the same and i'm sure that the name was also different.

Hi, so I work in a restaurant in Los Angeles, California. And every once on a while we have poor homeless people go in trying to use our restroom. We obviously wouldn't mind letting them because we know that sometimes they have needs like anybody else.

The problem is that the restaurant is a very nice restaurant, we don't have like a dress code of any kind but its so nice to the point that costumers don't wear just anything to go to our place. They feel the need to look fancy.

Now poor people look awfully dressed but that's because that's all they have and we can't let them in because of that and because they smell bad. I know if I saw them in the street I wouldn't mind giving them a few dollars but when it comes to work it's business and I just can't allow them.

Excuse my whole little story but I just want you, the reader, to know where i'm coming from. So is it against the law to not let them go in?

I'm open minded to any side whether you're okay with it or not.

Prostitution is a job that some must do in order to pay the bills and have food on the table. Not everyone can have an education or a family that can offer support.

But at the same time, its paying for sex. I think sex should be something special whether you're getting laid or having sex with your wife/girlfriend, as in both parties are interested. And also think about HIV and all other sexually transmitted diseases.

I'm no expert in the subject because of my young age and because I don't think I've discussed prostitution with anyone else.

But regardless, i'm interested in knowing someone else's point of view.

Does anyone know a song that talks about a guy and a girl that like each other but that both of them are too shy or afraid to say anything to each other. Please suggest as many songs possible that you know, I will truly appreciate it.

Its a busy weekend with the restaurant starting to write down names on the waiting list. There are also reservations, with one reservation at 7:30pm for 15 people. Its 7:40pm and only 9 people have showed up. The group is seated immediately because the next reservations are two hours later. Regardless, me and my coworkers and the owner have a small debate over what to do in these situations, when the group is still not complete.

The other host and the server that got the group of 15 say that they would prefer the whole party to be seated together and not a few now and then a few later. That way they all order drinks at the same time, order food at the same time and be on their way ready to leave at the same time.

The owner says its fine to sit them little by little as they are arriving even if they are not all here at their reservation time. That it helps the waiters get some of the orders started and then getting the rest of the others a few at a time and not all at once.

I partly agree with both sides but i'm interested in knowing which is the best. I think its fair to have them wait because they reserved for so many people at that certain time and they end up showing up as they wish any time after the reservation. How can I convince the owner, and if I really can't, what's the best way too deal with this?

By the way, we have live mariachi on weekends and sometimes we have people book a reservation like 2 Weeks in advance.

What caused them to lose or what could've been done different?

Did Messi's injury make the whole difference or would it been the same result?

I'm a Tottenham fan and I know my reaction would be really crazy and full of joy at the same time.

But lets be real, Tottenham still need to work harder to get there. First they need to get to the champions league that's for sure.

I remember after the group stage telling my cousins that if Borussia Dortmund faced Madrid again they would lose, again. Then I remember I talked to them about Barcelona not making it to the final and they all laughed at me. Now you see the results and I was right. But I guess I just got lucky because I wasn't complete sure who would advance. Any ways, I think Malaga gave a good fight to make it that far. Also I wish Arsenal had advanced ahead of Bayern. But anything can happen in soccer. What do you think? Is there a team you would of wanted to see to go farther?
