Treating a sting from a Japanese giant hornet?

I initially used a venom extractor...

Which worked somewhat..

And I kept "sting kill" on the sting wound, wrapped in gauze and medical tape.

I took a Hydrocodone every 6 hours,and a Meloxicam every 24 hours.I kept ice packs on my arm.

For 5 days.
