    Yuppies?  "Young Urban Professional" says it all. Educated, working and making money.

    Afghans? You mean the granny squares kind my aunt crocheted?

    We wore caftans in the early 70s, among other things, including granny square shawls. All sorts of bright colours.

    Yuppies were Young Urban Professionals. They would have loved the cellphone.
