Do you ever notice Mary Cooper personality is a lot different in Young Sheldon than the Big Bang Theory?

In the big bang theory she was very nice and caring and was never rude to people.  Sometimes she could be a little of offensive on race, she is not mean and very nice. In Young Sheldon she was a lot different, the may reason why Sheldon became who he is and why he left at 14 years old.  Sheldon never disappointed her mother on academics and what he will become.  She did inherit some of his antics, she is very controlling, hates change and sometimes could be mean.  Young Sheldon Cooper maybe the antagonist in the series and sometimes anti-hero.  Her mother is a minor antagonist and anti-hero.  I knew she and George argue a lot but it was tone down.  I knew their are marriage troubles and sometimes it almost led to divorce.  We know George had an affair, that won't happen until Sheldon is 13 years old. Why he knocks and says the name three times that annoys a lot of people.
