    Absolutely. Most file types are read piecemeal; only the portions that are being accessed at that moment is loaded into RAM. Videos, for instance. Even if it is necessary to load all of the contents into RAM, there are computers that have over 32 GB of RAM, so they can easily fit a 15 GB file.
