Why can't Christians accept that there isn't a single eye witness account of Jesus in the bible ?
There are heaps of stories and accounts of what Jesus done but no actual eye witnesses, all the stories are written in third person. I don't get it.
Matthew and John Gospels are in third person, doesn't make sense. If you met Jesus would you say "When I saw Jesus he said to me" or "When he met Jesus he said to him"

Nonsense. The majority of the New Testament was written by the Apostles, who lived with Jesus on a daily basis for several years, and personally witnessed most of what they rote about.

John was a witness too.
1Jn 1:1 That which was from the beginning, which we have heard, which we have seen with our eyes, which we looked upon and have touched with our hands, concerning the word of life—

The name itself wasn’t used for a hundred years after his death. For all you know they were still talking about the Egyptian god Horus . He has the same story . Virgin birth, crucified, rose from the dead.

That's not true. Several of those stories say clearly that they witnessed the events.

You are right, there is not one contemporary mention of bible Jesus anywhere. Quite amazing and revealing considering all the things the bible says Jesus did.
The gospels where written anonymously and decades after they say he died. Mark 1st, the ten years latter Matthew and Luke, who copied a lot from Mark but added and took away as they saw fit.
Even then all 4 gospel tell different stories.
I suspect most Christians prefer to stay ignorant
For example daylily61 who clearly knows nothing about the origins of the NT and wallows in lies
