Wouldnt the victims of police brutality get more support if they  werent criminals prior to the to the final encounter?

I guess what Im saying is,  if Floyd was white, I would say, "GOOD" .. "This guy wont be robbing, raping, pillaging, stealing, dealing drugs anymore"

Honest people don't tend to have many interactions with police officers on duty.  It's a numbers thing.

None of those crimes deserve a death sentence. And he served his time for any previous crimes. In America we have a little thing called DUE PROCESS. Cops don’t get to be judge, jury, and executioner. They are only supposed to use force against someone who poses an immediate threat. Once that threat is over, the use of force should stop. Nobody deserves to be murdered by a cop, no matter what their criminal record. A guy who rapes a 6 year old might deserve to get killed by her father (it is still a crime, regardless of how much the victim “deserves” it), but the cops certainly have no business killing anyone. Their job is to serve and protect. That includes anyone in their custody.
