Appliance question ?

I have a Entrige vacuum sealer and bought a jar sealer hose attachment. The hose used to work but now it won’t stay in the accessory port. No parts are missing. How do I fix this?

    Repair Tape.  (Duck Tape, Duct Tape, Gorilla Tape, etc.)

    Are the connections and adapters CLEAN.

    Are the connections worn (Leaking).

    Replace the hose and or connection.

    If it's just a rubber hose, cut off about an inch on the end.
