Anyone think this is part of making us the common people weak and without a voice?
If we have learned anything , it is that we are sitting ducks . I think silencing us , taking away everything and anything that gives us a voice and a chance to organize is happening on the net. How many venues are there that we can reach many people? NOT MANY!
You shouldn't answer a question if you do not understand what a person is asking. I have nothing to do with the reasons Verizon is shutting down Y/A .Verizon realizes they made a bad move when they bought Yahoo.
It is not a good thing to just answer a question not knowing the answer and not caring if your even correct.You need to learn about something very important all through your life .It is called integrity and it is something more valuable then you could even guess. you will love U

People like you who ignore the rules or are too dumb to read them are the reason sites get restricted or shut down.
This site has only ever been for fact-seeking questions - it's nothing at all to do with "having a voice".
Trying to put your ideas or opinions across to other is RANTING, which has always been a rule violation.
Ignoring the rules on a web site is a criminal offence near enough worldwide.
Most places just ban people rather than go through the hassle of making a formal complaint - but more and more people get prosecuted each year, for breaching computer and communications laws, many thousands each year now.
There is not and has never been "freedom of speech" online.
Web sites are private property and the owners have same rights to decide acceptable behaviour as you / you parents do in your house.
Freedom of speech exists in real-world public places like public parks - and that is all.
(And even then, anything that promotes crime is not protected).
Any site that claims "freedom of speech" must still remove any criminal threats or posts inciting crime etc. - failure to do so results in the site getting closed down.
That's what happened with parler; for several months they ignored warnings about having posts promoting criminal activity, and got taken offline as a result.
