Will black and white people ever get along?

The biggest reason blacks and whites dont get along is probably due to education. Most blacks have a disadvantage with IQ scores that are approximately 10 to 15 points lower than their Asian and white counter-part. 

I think people of today compared to the past are more friendly and open minded to people of different color than theirs?  Just my observation.  

There will still be stereotypes and whatnots. BUT through awareness,  teaching them kindness and tolerance in school and in the family,  religion are ways to combat this. 

I’m a white woman with a black boyfriend and a black friend.  I don’t mix with them just to prove I’m not racist and they don’t regard me as a trophy.  

I am white (very pale indeed) and speak with a strong regional accent and I get on fine with most people, especially Christians.  Our skin colour was chosen by God so how can anyone at all justify thinking less of a black person that they think of a white person.  Those who do think badly of black people will be answerable to God - on Judgement - Day for being that way.  You have no excuse if you are prejudiced against any group of people. God made each one of us and He made us the way that He wanted us to be.

They normally do.  Yes, there are racists, but not many.  Unfortunately, one bad apple DOES spoil the whole bunch. :-/

This is a seriously good Q, however, I would beg to differ black men see white women just as trophies and white people date to avoid being called racist! As for your point of burying the past, it's not simply about burying the past, it's more about white people excepting black people as equals within society and every other afforded area that white people have privileged advancement. You have users here continually asking whether certain nationalities are white despite their complexion being that of Caucasian which in my eyes makes them white. However, when the term black is being raised many only identify said persons as being Afro Caribbean when there are many others that are black! As I answered your Q there was a Q being asked, why as the black race not been successful? Within this category too many ignorant people are casting aspersions at only black people, however, when white privilege is rightly pointed out white people are up in arms declare such a statement as nonsense! The thought of even sympathizing for black people being murdered by "white law enforcement officers" still, white privileged voice WLM too. Every life matters, however, god forbid white people were to be murdered by black law enforcers within a black country just for being the wrong white, hell yeah, I would happily stand toe to toe with WLM demonstrators, and without a doubt, not even for a second think about insensitively point out, what about black lives? Somehow whether it be labelled white privilege, bigotry or racist white people need to understand they cast the 1st stone and still continue to cast stones and aspersions at all black people, even the ones that have never done a thing wrong their entire life! I just don't get it why on this planet whereby there are far more Caucasian complexion countries (People) and yet there's still the necessity trample all over black people and inform us that we're not welcome even when a black person is law abiding and non-threatening to either you or your family and neighbourhood! So, in answer to your Q, it's not even a large majority of us that's against living in harmony with white people, it's that you just won't allow us to and are forever tarring us all with the same brush, so it's never gonna happen however long the planet exists!

I'm Black, a native Georgian in my mid-twenties. I have known White people my entire life and got along with 99% of them. Two of my childhood bestfriends are White. A White mother in my neighborhood was taking her little girl and their dog for a walk one day in 2020. They waved at me, I waved back. Color is not the issue, it's culture. Black and White individuals can get along and love each other just fine so long as they share the same/similar values. This goes for anyone, though, including within ethnic groups. 

Almost 10% of married Black American men have White American wives and 4% of married Black American women have White American husbands , you can double those numbers of you consider non-married couples and people who had white partners in the past, so many black and white people get along well in America  , 50 years ago less than 1% of married Black American men and women had white American wives and husbands, anyway you're partly right , about 70% of Black Americans and white Americans seems to have many problems getting along 

We get along fine in my neighbourhood.
