Why do dogs walk into incoming trains?

Don't push dogs in front of trains, and maybe that wouldnt happen.

I have seen them chase trains but never walk into one.

When i was just a boy you used to train hop. Many times we'd find wandering in the woods. We used to throw them on the train and after the train went fast enough we'd throw em off and watch there little bodies tumble down the hill squeelin in pain. Good times. Loss my leg doing that.
