Buying old designer clothes? ?

Do you think its OK to buy old designer clothes as you can't afford new ones?

    Absolutely. Some older designer clothes were made to last decades. Modern stuff you're lucky if it can stand up to one washing.

    Much better since clothes used to be better made.  Spending big bucks now doesn't guarantee quality anymore.  Classic, quality clothes never go wrong.

    Yes indeed. Why pay $180 for a new Barbour cashmere sweater when you get LIKE new Barbour cashmere sweaters for $80 at the consignment shop?
