do they still use performing monkeys?
in places such as circuses? performing chimps that sing and dance etc.

A few uncivilised countries still allow the use of chimpanzees as 'props' for beach photographers and the like. However, most governments are now trying to ban this and rescue the animals. Chimpanzees are not monkeys - they're apes. And no ape or monkey can sing.

The Republican party used a performing monkey rather effectively. It worked quite well actually, for a while anyway.
