What does it mean that the package was delivered to the front desk, reception area or mail room? ?
I have sent a package from Australia to the USA. On the usps website in the tracking it says it has been delivered to the front desk, reception area or mail room.

It sounds like someone had it shipped to their place of employment or they live in a multi-unit building with an office that receives mail on the behalf of residents.

It means that the package was dropped off somewhere on the premises. No specific location.
