Did anybody Leave Chicago ever since Lori Lightfoot became mayor?

    I left when "9.5 fingers" was still a mayor, about 6-7 months before Beetlejuice got elected.

    Of course.  People move in and out all the time.

    The city has been losing population for several decades.  Some reasons are:

    - White (and middle class Black and Asian) flight

    - Disgust with endemic city/county/state corruption

    - High taxes

    - Crime in some neighborhoods

    - Loss of job opportunities

    - Deteriorating public services

    - Too many lousy public schools (maybe due to lousy quality of students)
