What happens when you dye bleached hair?
Last summer I bleached my hair
Died it dark brown
It has been several months and the hair that was bleached is now like a medium chestnut brown I really don’t want to dye it again what can I do will it fade even more would purple shampoo work
I wanted to go darker so I dyed it dark brown at Christmas and it has faded

Purple shampoos are meant to help brassiness in blond hair, they don't do any thing for fading. Try using products for color treated hair, or using color depositing shampoos and conditioners.
The brown shouldn't turn purple.
You can re dye your hair if you want to, it's been long enough so your hair shouldn't get damaged. As long as you read and follow the instructions properly.
