Traveling to morocco?

So I'm a female always loved the moroccan culture and decided to take a flight to marrakech. Instead I'm landing in casablanca for a 13 hour layover and rented a car. I know some people there and they told me casablanca Is beautiful to view but a 13 hour layover seems a bit much that I should just skip it get in the car and drive straight to marrakech. They don't drive so I have no way in going back to casablanca hopping on a plane just to come back to the house I rented it's all a mess and I need some advice thank you.

This is a little vague. But I certainly wouldn't recommend renting a car and driving in Casablanca! There's a very nice airport that will take you to the old Medina. You can certainly find enough to do there for several hours- keeping in mind that you have to be back at the airport in time to go through security, and that to leave the airport, you have to go through immigration, which could take a while. Or you could get the car and drive to Marrakech and stay there, but the then the airline is likely to cancel your return flight. Why not take advantage of this opportunity to see another town?
