We don't know as we haven't taken your mouse apart to see what the actual 'fault' is.

Have you dropped it and the upper surface become dislodged?  If so, the piece of plastic underneath the left mouse button MAY have become misaligned with the microswitch beneath it.  To solve this you would need to undo the screw that's holding the baseplate in situ, realigning the plastic with the microswitch, then screwing it back together.

If you're 'heavy-handed' when pressing the left mouse button, you MAY have permanently damaged the microswitch so it will either need replacing ... and that's not a five minute job ... or replace the mouse with a new one.
