Why are Apple commercials so lame?

I just watched one were their selling point was a electric cardiogram you can take anytime.  Two fingers and a clock is all you need. Another one was a phone with 3 cameras.  Most phones have a zoom feature. I just don't get what they are trying to hype.

    They trying to impress the people who upgrade every year

    Not to mention the annoying songs they use that get stuck in ones head all day

    Well. Apple is good at marketing. Many of their products have not been much better than others (yes, iPhone initially and ipod are exceptions) but they have been much better at making people believe their products were better.
