Will the USA Eagles ever have a good rugby union team ? please read info below?

By this I mean will the USA Eagles ever be strong enough to compete with and/or beat teams like New Zealand, England, South Africa, Australia, Ireland, France, Argentina etc ?

Maybe.  They're finally doing the things that they should have been doing all along, which is grow the game, develop a domestic comp (MLR), and get their financial house in order (still very much a work in progress).  Their sevens program is competitive, and their fifteens team have probably overtaken us (Canada) as the second best team in the Americas (after Argentina).  They're getting players into the game, MLR is a decent product (with the Wolfpack no more (another story/code) I'll be watching the Arrows this spring playing in Atlanta due to border issues), and if USA Rugby can get themselves sorted out financially, they could be competitive in another 8-12 years.

It took Argentina a long time (and entry into Super Rugby and the Rugby Championship) to gain credibility, similar to Italy in the Six Nations (if the Yanks can beat Italy that would be a good benchmark).

They are doing the right things and given time yes. However they need strong international competition to improve.
