Police harassment?

I'm in Florida with a registered car here.  I also have a florida ID no license. I am on the insurance. He pulled us over because I had a ID with a registered car and someone else was driving. I believe it's harassment because you have a rite for someone else to drive and even a paid driver

Update:

So even though we didn't get any charges this means every day police can pull me over.

Update 2:

Everybody so far has no clue. Don't tell me I'm not on the insurance i pay every month for two vehicles in two state. The police told me that's the reason he pulled me over. Try not to answer if you believe I'm incorrect

Update 3:

Try not to correct my spelling or grammar. I didn't ask if I can ask the question correctly

Update 4:

I can accept no for a answer if you can tell me why without changing the facts of what I said.

Update 5:

Let's hope someone can answer it without changing to what question. They want it to be

I am on the insurance. The insurance follows me. For example if i rent a car it follows me. The police told me that was the reason he pulled me over

NO, you WERE NOT pulled over because of the ID the officer had not seen.

NO, you ARE NOT on insurance for ANY vehicle if you don't have a driver's license. Literally EVERY auto insurance policy ever written EXPLICITLY excludes anyone that can't legally drive.

You can own the car, but you CANNOT be covered as a driver of the car.

Note: Insurance on the CAR is not insurance on YOU.

Being COMPLETELY IGNORANT about the entire situation is your fault, not the officer's.

Neptune2bsure is DEAD WRONG in 50 states.

what makes you think that was the reason?  how did they know the driver was not the owner before pulling you over...it was likely another reason.  you absolutely DO NOT NEED A LICENSE to own a car.  you can get it insured without being listed as a driver on the policy.

It's right, not rite.  No, that wasn't Police harassment.  Is that your question?  I'd be very interested in the research behind "I believe ... you have a 'rite' for someoneelse to drive ..."

you can't own a vehicle in your name without a drivers license because you can't get insurance in your name for the vehicle without a driver's license.  Police can pull you over it is their job to keep the streets safe for actual licensed and legal drivers.  why would someone put you on the insurance if you are not driving the vehicle or licensed to drive period.  For this I don't believe your statement.

Chances are the police pulled you over because your driver broke a traffic law because they didn't know you were the car owner until after the stop.  It also sounds like you are complaining that a ticket wasn't issued and the cop cut your driver a break.
