Nearly losing the house, having a baby, trying to refinance, ultimately deciding to sell the house even though it is now affordable, and Friday we move to a temporary apartment, which will allow for some time to house shop and do renovations in the current house because 2 small children and a kind of neurotic dog aren't really conducive to remodeling efforts.
Oh, and last week my dad was diagnosed with cancer and had half his femur removed and replaced with a new knee and we drove him home 200mi with both small children and the dog.
And since that wasn't enough, we are currently on vacation at a in-state Air B&B, being assaulted by high winds and waves!
There's much more, but I am probably boring you.
