I've shoveled 4 inches of snow in Colorado TWICE this week, once with the temperature below zero.  What's Texas's problem?

Spoken like a true idiot-

1- Texas (espically the southern parts) are NOT used to nearly a foot of snow. A lot of individuals don't have snow tires, so that makes it espically difficult to get around in, even dangerous.

2- Most people in Texas don't have furnances in their home! So when the temperature dips to below freezing, it makes it a very dangerous situation, where people will wind up freezing to death within a short span. The other danger is people will use items that have carbon monoxide (ie cars etc) to heat their homes, the issue there is CO is a silent killer, most people won't sense it until its already too late.

3- You live in Coloarado, its a place that has months of winter, and people are equipped to handle cold out breaks, and snow storms, its easy for you to deal with that kind of weather.

You want to learn some empathy? Take your *** out onto the streets in Denver, spend a night out there with no jack/blanket, feel the coldness and then you will learn what people in Texas are dealing with.

Mother Nature decided to chase Ted Cruz.  Next week, she's going after Nancy Pelosi.

Why do you live in such a miserable frozen craphole?

The cheap SOBs built their own grid so they could save money by not meeting federal standards. Now, they want the other states to bail them out.

You are used to it, prepared for it, your turbines have lube in them that work at those temps, most of your heating does not come from the grid but from some sort of fossil driven heater. So the demand on the grid stays at a more constant rate, easier to predict demand and such.

Talking point that many are saying is that Texas isn't used to this type of weather. That just isn't true. Sure some of it has broken records but not all, they do get snow and ice like this once in a while, they do drop to freezing or below often.

They don't have ANY snow shovels.

PS. Climate change can't be real or there would be evidence......

They live in Texas and are not used to that sort of weather.
