How cold is it over there in texas?

    Today it was about 80, so it's not that hot.

    It depends on where you are in Texas. Remember, Texas is a BIG state - enough for 4 areas. Very cold and windy in the north and semi-tropical in the south. Gulf Coast area seldom even freezes. The only parts of Texas that are subject to harsher winters are west Texas and the panhandle.

    Dallas TX: 28° now, dropping to 15° tonight. That’s a balmy winter day here in South Dakota. T-shirt weather. We were -27° a few days ago.
