Melbourne going into lockdown at midnight due to covid variant from U.K.  No visitors to homes, etc. Will the tennis tournament end? ?

    At this stage no, but there will be no crowds until at least Thursday 18th.

     Some fans at the tournament don't have masks on. Why isn't it mandatory? Terrible news about lockdown.

    God, I hope so.  What a stunningly stupid thing to have done in the first place.  F uck Tennis Australia for bringing in thousands of whining, childish covid carriers.
