    He's one of the best. He played with the Wrecking Crew and you can hear his playing on recordings such as "You've Lost That Lovin' Feeling" by the Righteous Brothers, "Strangers In The Night" by Frank Sinatra, "Dang Me" by Roger Miller, and "I'm A Believer" by the Monkees.

    He was considered an excellent guitar player before he was known as a singer. He was one of “The Wrecking Crew” and played on lots of sessions.
