What is this hole/rash i keep getting on my bikini line ?

Every few weeks i get one of these holes in my skin, with a red rash surrounding, it smells awful and sometimes leaks pus and blood. They’re always on my bikini line where there is a skin fold and i have no idea what they are and why i keep getting them. They go away eventually on their own, usually after a few weeks

Update:

It’s not herpes and it’s not serious or rotting lol, my guess is intertrigo because the skin is quite thin there but i have no idea

It's either that, or really bad friction burn that's causing a blister, to which the friction then tears the blister, and combining that with sweat and whatnot, bacteria is then getting into the wound causing an infection which is causing the smell and puss. I would still get it checked out, but I would also try to find ways to reduce the friction in that area. Maybe what you're wearing is slightly too tight? You could also try maybe a powder or something to reduce moisture. When you get them right now, though, keep the area clean and put some sort of anti-bacterial on it like Polysporin, then cover it up with a bandage so it can heal. The doctor should be able to help you out with more.

It might be a simple pimple, either from an ingrown hair, or a pore blockage, etc. But because it's in a warm moist area of your body, it never gets a chance to heal when it bursts. The smell is from the pus that flows out of that blockage. What you need to do is keep that area dry so it can begin to heal. The way to do that is to put some medical gauze over the hole and tape the gauze to your skin so it stays on during the whole day. Obviously change the gauze daily or even more often. You will also need to use an antiseptic in that area to heal it up. A good thing you can use is aftershave lotion, which is an antiseptic and it also covers up the smell.

Where the seams rub, they may cause ingrown hairs and infection with minor skin pathogens.   Exotic dancers spend a lot of time making sure this does not happen.

That looks serious.  Before I saw the pic I was thinking Genital Herpes because of the smell, pus and blood.

There's definitely some flesh rotting there for some unknown reason.

Because of those symptoms alone I have to recommend you visit a doctor the next time it comes back.  Make sure to take pictures of it at different stages to help the doctor diagnose it better.

Seeing the picture I can see the hole.  I've never seen anything like it.

Is that the only place it happens?  Does it ever happen on the other side?

I'm a guy and when I wear sweat pants longer than 12 hours I get a slight rash in the same area (or lower).

The round hole has me perplexed.

I hope you can get it healed and corrected so it doesn't return.

    Good luck!
