I used to eat butter when I was a kid. I would sneak it at any opportunity. Looking back it was a little gross but so delicious! Now, as an adult I don't think I'd just eat a slab of butter. I supposed it's unhealthy to eat so much butter.

Its just not done, its seen as just eating 'fat'.
What you do in your own 'four walls' is up to you.

Butter is not healthy if you eat a lot of it. A BIT of it spread on a piece of bread is okay, but if you are eating it by itself, you are probably eating way too much ... will end up clogging your arteries and having a heart attack.
