I feel sick but I have something important going on this week? Should I stay home and not risk it?

So I am 16 years old and the spring tennis tryouts are in 2 days. I didn't make it in the fall and wanted to try out again but I also feel like I am still not ready since the skill level in my district is insane. Recently I was in a tennis court and the person next door to me was coughing quiet a lot. I got worried and hit with a mask on but it is a couple days later and I feel awful. My head hurts, I threw up multiple times, and I get chills. I do not have a fever and haven't tested for COVID. Should I stay home and quarantine just to be safe and not risk getting the coach and rest of the team exposed?

You say you 'get chills' and that usually means you have a fever.  DO NOT risk going anywhere until you have tested negative for Covid 19.

Why would anybody risk passing this virus on............................

So what's worse, passing this on (or even having to be hospitalised yourself) or just missing some tennis tryout.

If you feel sick, stay home especially now.

What kind of teammate would you be if you purposely showed up sick and possibly infectiously making others sick?  Let the coach know and maybe he can get you a tryout later.
