The best thing for you to do is to lay down, and keep your head elevated, looking upwards. Don’t try to blow or wipe your nose.

Often, frequent rhinorrhagia could be due to varicose veins in the nose which can be cauterized permanently with laser treatment; to stop the rhinorrhagia, it's usually used a hemostatic cream put copiously inside nose and over a surgical nasal tampon which is then pushed deep inside nose; a long and thick piece of rolled sterile gauze could be also used, as home remedial, and hemostatic creams could be bought at pharmacy; however, the above informations are not intended to substitute specific medical diagnosis and advices, as rhinorrhagia can be a symptom of, or in comorbidity with, other pathologies which may require more advisable treatments.
