What feelings does the painting The Last Supper cause you to feel?

"People in the Renaissance didn't know how to paint - they put everyone on one side of the table as if it were a TV sitcom."

I feel a little confused when I look at the painting. Why do the men look wealthy instead of poor? 

Annoyance over the obscene amount of money it is now worth, when Christianity is supposed to help the poor.

How a group of filthy poor vagabonds would be able to sit down for a sumptuous feast at a king's table.

Having been to the (supposed) room in Jerusalem, 

a bit confused as to where the painting is supposed to be.

Like it was a Passover Seder.

None, It's suppose to, I was raised Roman Catholic so it is suppose to mean something to me, it doesn't.

Confusion as to why a group of men from the Middle East are being depicted as north-central Mediterranean.

EDIT:  After a brief bit of research, I just learned that da Vinci actually modeled everyone in the painting after actual people in Milan.  So that somewhat explains that.

So now, confusion as to why someone who never professed Christian faith painted so many works with Christian themes.  But not that much confusion, I suspect the answer is the same as why most people do things - $$.

None whatsoever. It's a clever bit of painting but not very interesting. It is one man's vision of a made-up story that, had it been a real event, would not have looked like that. If you are going out with a dozen mates, do you sit in a long line or do you get the beers in and sit round a table, face to face?
