Unfortunately, the answer to your question is "No".  There have always been prejudices in the world, and will continue to be as long as there is human nature.  While prejudice is, as you said, "stupid, dumb and heartless", it unfortunately abounds in the world. The sad part about it is that people teach their children to be fearful, suspicious and angry toward people who don't look like them from the time they are very young.  That perpetuates the prejudice to go on for more generations to come.

It would be good if that were so but we all know that it isn't.

Yes and no one should be discriminated against. That's why I fully oppose affirmative action and the anti-white narrative used by MSM. Notice how in any stories involving a white perpetrator, his white race is made clear. However, in stories involving white victims, the race of his non-white attacker is not mentioned. Yeah, that kind of implicit anti-white racism and favoritism for non-whites has got to stop. If we can get there, I think we'll have a good shot at improving race relations.

There’s more black on white crime. And as I’ve said before and I really wish leftists would learn that these police officers aren’t going out of their way to randomly kill a black person. They aren’t being hunted down and African Americans make it seem like they have to carry a gun with them at all times or else they are going to be shot for being black. That’s so far from the truth as so many people are against racism. This is exaggeration. As you can see even with the George Floyd incident he was on drugs and was resisting arrest the whole time and had a heart attack because under the influence of so many drugs. If anything, there’s more black people attacking white people. As long as you don’t go around killing people who aren’t the same race as you I don’t see the problem of stereotyping as many can fit those stereotypes and you are just being cautious
