Can paintballs guns break bones?

You probably mean paintballs. If they are swinging the marker around, I'd have them ejected.
Otherwise, other than occasional bruising and minor bleeding from being hit really close, no, the paintballs won't break bones.
You may however hear some horror stories about the time when <insert name> jumped down from somewhere and shattered a knee or broke an arm or leg. Woods ball in some instances can be a bit hazardous because holes and trees are not very forgiving. On the other hand, everything comes with some risk.
If you follow all the safety rules, paintball is one of the safest sports you can be involved in.

Possibly under the right conditions but generally they won't break a bone.

A paintball impact isn't much more severe feeling than a bee sting. I suspect if you were hit in the mouth it MIGHT knock out a tooth, but bones are a lot harder than paint gel.

Nope. They'll leave a hell of a bruise, but they dont have enough energy to break bone
