well about 5mil. Turks live in Germany,

they escaped of poverty, most of them are loyal to the German state, that's why the Germans accepted them and for example millions of Germans eat Turkish food in Germany,

but some very rare immigrants of them try to sell their religious story to the German state,

    not all very few,

why don't they sell the German story in Turkey and save the Turkish citizens from poverty,

that's what makes a bad impression on most German citizens,

a small number of ungrateful immigrants,

I apologize for speaking on behalf of the Germans because they received the most Turks, it is the same with all Europeans

They are free to like or not to like the Turks, and we are free not to give a flying phuck. If they are going to whine about something, they should go and whine about themselves first, or they can go and phuck themselves up.

I don't think people necessarily dislike Turkish people and their legendary friendliness nor is the country considered anything other than beautiful, but there is ample reason to lack trust in the Turks because of the aggressive and anti-European history of Turkey.  There's also the matter of a lack of security in the country in fairly recent years, particularly the 2016 attack on Ataturk airport and 2017 Istanbul nightclub attack.

I am of Hungarian descent and I can assure you a lot of Hungarians don't trust the Turks because of the whole Ottoman invasion, slaughter, and occupation for 158 years thing.  However, they are less wary since the days of Mustafa Kemal Ataturk.  Armenians don't trust Turks because of the whole genocide thing from 1915 to 1917.  Kurdish people don't trust the Turks because of all the warring and ethnic cleansing.  Greeks don't trust the Turks over Cyprus.  Even Turkey's immediate neighbors have seen dark days in recent because of the Turkish military.  Let's not get started on the image problem the country has from offering medical services to members of the Islamic State.  And of course, some are concerned about Erdogan's general defiance and push against the secular nature of the state in favor of a more theocratic Islamist state.

I, for one, would love to visit Istanbul, Gaziantep, and Cappadocia.  I may well do so, as I plan to do a tour of the northern hemisphere in the summer if the pandemic restrictions are eased, starting with Japan, then South Korea, then Kazakhstan, then Turkey before heading to continental Europe. But if I am there, I can assure you I will be extra vigilant.

Because your Turkish immigrants are all over Europe and generally have stopped integrating, Turkey is starting to act like the Ottoman Empire, you are under a dictatorship that shouldn't be in NATO, Turkish actions in Syria/Libya/Cyprus/etc, genocide against Armenians and Kurds, threatening Greece, Islam is plague on the earth, etc etc etc. The more Islamic and aggressive Turkey gets, the more people will dislike it. Basic stuff, really.

I think that most people don't like the political leader of Turkey, and this includes many Turkish citizens.

Turkey the country is beautiful and the people are simply wonderful. I spend two weeks there and found them to be incredibly friendly and hospitable. I have some very happy memories of Turkey.

Actions like the illegal occupation of Northern Cyprus might be one reason.

I toured Ephesus and it was one of the best things I ever did.  My only problem with Turkey was the overly zealous shop keepers trying to sell me junk.  And I don't think "people" don't like Turley, it isn't on most people's radar.

We got nothing against the nation Turkey, but Erdogan is a really bad leader, almost as bad as Trump.
