Why do yoga people wear such tight clothes. Wouldn't looser clothes help them move better?

Yoga is a series of stretches and poses, some very complex. Looser clothes get in the way of trying to flow into these poses and stretches. 

"Yoga people" are referred to as yogis. 

Clothing does not help a person move. Some clothing is more restrictive than others but there are no clothes that "help" anybody move.

no they aren't better and they might even cause the person wearing them to injure themselves when they trip over them
