How often do you stay up longer than you should listening to music?

I have work in 3 hours but I cant stop listening. What kind of music do you listen to if you do? Any recommendations for me? I like folk music. Thanks in advance:)

As long as I want to. There are no rules that tell me how long I can stay up. I listen to a variety of genres.

It depends on who you are, and how old you are!

In the U.S.A. we have "Public Broadcasting" (PBS), a few TV stations supported by donations, NOT commercials. There is a show called "Austin City Limits" which showcases LIVE MUSIC. It comes on at midnight. As you say far too often, we stay up to see an amazing band and show.

Two in particular I would never miss even the re-runs. One they run each Christmas Eve for years now. They call it the most unique performance ever on their stage. That is Tom Waits. The other is Trombone Shorty & Orleans Avenue.

Yes, Most every weekend we stay up to watch Austin City Limits.

Trombone Shorty ROCKED that place !

    Had a Guest Cyril Neville.

    * I removed the links ... seems yahoo is at it again, answers with links do not show. It sucks they do not let you be helpful anymore.

I had linked Tom Waits :

Tom Waits A Sweet Little Bullet From A Pretty Blue Gun

    AND

Trombone Shorty & Orleans Avenue on Austin City Limits "Where It At?"

    Way too often :-)

I listen to various genres, but mostly rock and pop. What are some artists or songs that you like?
