What's that phrase people use when referring to "the best product" from a producer; e.g. the Mona Lisa is Da Vinci's ......?

As if the Mona Lisa is Da Vinci's best work. I swear there is like a French phrase people use when referring to someone's best work. Any ideas? Could also be referring to someone's like most famous work or along those lines

Update:

Meant to 5 stars sorry, yes magnum opus!!

I think you might be thinking of 'pièce de résistance' which means a masterpiece; the most memorable accomplishment of one’s career or lifetime.

    Mistake.
