Why is Yahoo answers throwing a security warning out today?

Warning your connection is not private an attacker or hacker may be trying to steal your information. I cleared my browser and restarted the phone and made a new connection to Yahoo and it's still putting up a security warning

    The security certificate yahoo has setup is registered to a subdomain of yahoo (abumedia.yahoo.com) rather than answers.yahoo.com so the error is showing a mismatch.  It's likely just a minor configuration issue and the site is still secure.

    no idea.  bitdefender did the same thing.  everything else on yahoo works fine.

    It's your browser, not Yahoo. Had that two or three times before, with one browser, but not on another one. I just ignore it.
