What is a good thesis for this essay question?

“How did debates over or interpretations of the US Constitution shape the status of slavery, causes, and consequences of the Civil War?”

    2. Debates and interpretations of the constitution contained controversial and unsatisfying lines that incited a sense of hatred in the general public.

    This essay seems like a good challenge, good luck.

    My one piece of advice is to just mess around, write random stuff and don’t take it too seriously at first, almost like a kindergartener playing with legos, then bring in the student in you and fine tune your thoughts. This is how you will avoid procrastination and you will be more ready to rely on yourself.
