A fix to your 6S is going to be a lot cheaper than a new phone.

There's plenty of places where they can replace the screen, and battery would be a good idea, you don't need to go to an Apple shop to get it done.

I'm always worried about batteries though, you never quite know if you are getting a good one. My 6S battery is getting really bad, it was great at first but now doesn't last long (it's only just over a year old) and I don't thrash the phone.

I'm seriously thinking about going back to Android.

Either get it repaired at a small private local phone shop, or buy a screen assembly on ebay and do it yourself.

Fit a new battery while you are at it & it will be good as new.

(If you look at any videos on youtube on replacing the battery, you have to remove the screen to do that).

Just make sure you swap the home button from the old screen to the new one, as the fingerprint sensor in that is permanently paired to the phone and a different one will not work for fingerprints.

An IPhone 6s is close to obsolete but if it still does what you need there's no reason to replace it for that reason.  How much does it cost to replace the screen?  How much is a new phone?

We just replaced two Iphone 6 because both of us were running out of memory and we had 64 Gb.  Our new Iphone 11 were ordered with 256 Gb.

Get the iPhone SE 2020 for $399.00.  It looks and feels like an iPhone 7.
